At every stage Mac trade services were following up with me for necessary documentation. I have provided all the required documentation and then MAC trade services took nearly 2 weeks to review and approve and in another 10 days they would process the eligible PDRS rebate to my account as informed. Where my electricity retailer was guarded and at first unwilling, MAC trade was open. It took 7 months to sort my problem and receive my rebate, with assistance of both my energy retailer and MAC. I had difficulties with downloading PDF documents but then tried photos of documents which worked better. I had to later send copies of documents which the supplier had provided to me. To be fair my IT skills are basic. The former project encountered some difficulties in getting compatibility with our legacy PV system but the team from MTS worked persistently until a successful outcome was achieved. The battery was installed without problems. We are very happy with both jobs. We found MAC Trade Services to be very professional, very proficient and very reliable in all their dealings with us. I found them to be very patient with me, regarding the information they needed and the lack of information i was given by the company i installed the battery with. Several emails later explaining step by step what i needed and then me trying to get that information from the supplier took longer than normal. To finally have an email to say all is completed is now making my life stress free. Thankyou to the staff at MacTrade services for the upto date info in the process of getting it completed.Grant Jones27 April 2026Very efficient service when uploading the required documents to show VPP connection, fast response and approval and happy with their allocation of the entire $2050 for the rebate on a $20k solar system. The only reason MAC Trade Services don't get the 5th star is the length of time it takes to make their payment. From approval to payment received (yet to occur) should not take any longer than a week certainly not 60 days, that unfortunately sounds like they use government payers to me.
