What is the Virtual Power Plant rebate?

A Virtual Power Plant (VPP) links home batteries together so they can support the electricity grid during times of high demand.

When your battery is connected to an approved VPP, you may be eligible for a cash incentive based on the size of your battery. This incentive recognises the value your battery provides by sharing stored energy when it’s needed most.

These incentives are delivered under the NSW Peak Demand Reduction Scheme (PDRS) and are available to eligible households through accredited providers like MAC Trade Services.

Modern homes equipped with solar panels showcase renewable energy in action. This high-resolution image depicts sustainable living with eco-friendly homes utilizing solar power on their rooftops. Ideal for illustrating clean energy concepts, energy efficiency, and future architecture projects.
