  1. (REPS Offer Validity) Offer is valid until 15th December of the current calendar year unless sold out prior.
  2. (REPS Offer Availability) The submission of this application does not guarantee payment or approval. All applications are subject to review and assessment by MAC TS. We reserve the right to accept or decline applications at our discretion.
  3. (REPS Credits) All REPS energy credits created under this offer must be assigned to MAC TS’s nominated Energy Retailer obliged under the REPS.
  4. (Approved VPP’s) VPP connections where a rebate can be claimed are limited to VPPs approved by the South Australian Government Department for Energy and Mining for participation in REPS.
  5. (Product Requirements) To be eligible batteries must meet the following requirements:
    1. have a capacity greater than or equal to 2kWh total capacity (not useable capacity).
    2. Batteries greater than 28kWh in total capacity will only receive a rebate equal to that of a battery of 28kWh total capacity.
    3. Only batteries designed and installed by a CEC-accredited designer and installer are eligible.
    4. Only batteries supplied and installed in accordance with all relevant Australian and State Laws and Standards are eligible.
  6. (REPS Eligibility) Offer applies to batteries that meet the product requirements and:
    1. were connected to an approved VPP in South Australia;
    2. were initially connected during the current calendar year;
    3. the rebate application was lodged using the date the VPP connection took place;
    4. is an existing or new battery installation;
    5. the VPP connection is to the battery in use at the address on the application;
    6. landlord/owner approval has been obtained (if required);
    7. a REPS Activity Record is sent to the Customer via email/post.
  7. (REPS Compliance) The Customer understands that if the REPS incentive cannot be claimed due to a previous claim or inaccurate documentation, repayment of the rebate and admin costs may be required.
  8. (Multiple claims) The rebate can be claimed again at the same address upon renewal with an existing or new VPP provider, provided prior contract duration was at least three years.
  9. (Priority and Hardship Group Customers) The rebate may be higher for Priority or Hardship Group customers. Proof is required and must be valid at the time of application. Failure to provide proof will result in receiving the general household rebate.
  10. (Authorised signatory) The Customer confirms they are authorised and will directly benefit from the services provided by the installed equipment.
  11. (Product Availability) Product brands and models may change without notice, impacting rebate availability.
  12. (Payment of Rebate) Customers must provide correct bank details. Incorrect details may delay or cancel payment. Processing may take up to 60 days.
  13. (Exclusion of Liability) MAC TS excludes liability for consequences arising from false, misleading, or incomplete information provided by the Customer.
  14. (Data Privacy) Customer information will be collected for compliance purposes under relevant Acts. Full privacy policy: https://mactradeservices.com.au/privacy-policy
  15. (Auditing – General) Information may be used by the Regulator or other parties for auditing.
  16. (Phone Audit) Customers may be contacted for auditing. Non-participation may forfeit the incentive.
  17. (Site Audit) Customers may be required to participate in a physical or phone audit to verify the claim.
  18. (Dispute Resolution) Disputes must be notified in writing. Both parties must attempt resolution. Complaints procedure: https://mactradeservices.com.au
  19. (Governing Law) Governed by South Australian law. Parties submit to SA courts’ jurisdiction.
  20. (Application Submission) By submitting, the Customer confirms all provided information is true, accurate, and complete.

Definitions

Customer means the person named in the application;

Energy Retailer means the Obliged Energy Retailer as defined under the REPS Code;

Hardship Group means the meaning given to Priority Group Customer;

MAC TS means MAC Energy Efficiency Group Pty Ltd t/a MAC Trade Services, ABN 95 612 163 783, Unit 2, 134 Fullarton Road, Rose Park SA 5067, SA – Builders License Number BLD322897;

Priority Group Customer is defined as a person who:

    • holds a Commonwealth Government Pensioner Concession Card, Health Care Card (including a Low-Income Health Care Card), TPI or War Widows Gold Repatriation Health card, Gold Repatriation Health Card (EDA);
    • receives the SA Government Energy Bill Concession;
    • participates in an energy retailer hardship program or payment plan;
    • receives an SA Government Energy Concession;
    • has a referral from a SAFCA member;
    • rents a property for $500 per week or less (residential premises with partial tenancy are not eligible for Priority Group status)

REPS means the Retailer Energy Productivity Scheme;

Regulator means ESCOSA (Essential Services Commission of South Australia);

VPP means Virtual Power Plant.
