What you need to know

Rebates will soon be available on new induction cooktops through the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program.   As an Accredited Provider, MAC Trade Services can help you streamline this rebate process.

Start by filling out an Expression of Interest form, and we’ll be in touch closer to the portal go-live date, expected in late December 2024 / January 2025, to confirm your eligibility and request the additional documentation needed to process your application.

Here’s how the rebate proces will work:

  1. Choose an approved product.
  2. Purchase an induction cooktop from a Victorian appliance retailer.
  3. Complete your rebate application.
  4. Once verified, you will receive your rebate within 60 days.

When the portal is open you will need to provide the following evidence:

  1. A copy of your purchase receipt.
  2. A photo of the cooktop's serial number.
  3. A copy of your latest gas bill, ensuring the address matches the claim address.
  4. Your bank account details

Please note that the rebate is only available for cooktops purchased between 25th October 2024 and 25th October 2025.

Simply fill out the Expression of Interest Form, and we’ll be in touch!
