I have signed up for VPP with Amber and they have partnered with MAC Trade Services for evaluating, approving and processing the PDRS rebate for eligible battery for home. At every stage Mac trade services were following up with me for necessary documentation. I have provided all the required documentation and then MAC trade services took nearly 2 weeks to review and approve and in another 10 days they would process the eligible PDRS rebate to my account as informed. MAC trade was the provider for my NSW govt battery rebate. There were initially some issues (system) regarding geotagged images. Later my application was rejected because of my own onboarding//nominations error. I had to call MAC trade several times. And every instance was professional, courteous and most of all honest. Where my electricity retailer was guarded and at first unwilling, MAC trade was open. It took 7 months to sort my problem and receive my rebate, with assistance of both my energy retailer and MAC. I spoke to Peter once in the early stage and he provided clear info and offered help if needed. The emails that followed the application were always polite and clear what was needed.The examples were helpful I completed it over a few days on my phone. I had difficulties with downloading PDF documents but then tried  photos of documents which worked better.  I had to later send copies of documents which the supplier had provided to me. We have had recent experience with MAC trade Services while adding information systems and an EV charger to our existing PV setup as part of the Energy Masters project and installing a battery as part of the Federal Government's Home Battery Scheme. The former project encountered some difficulties in getting compatibility with our legacy PV system but the team from MTS worked persistently until a successful outcome was achieved. The battery was installed without problems. We are very happy with both jobs. We found MAC Trade Services to be very professional, very proficient and very reliable in all their dealings with us. Got put on to this pilot program in Qld  from our battery installer after had complained about our Vpp we are signed up to had not taken out any electricity after 2 years. I have dealt with MAC Trade Services on more than one occasion and have been so impressed  They respond to  all calls and emails within no time at all ! It is such a rare thing these days to have a company that genuinely wants to help and advise in anyway they can ! Do not hesitate to contact MAC Trade Services here in Adelaide for anything REPS or Government rebates They can and DO help with any Questions you may have I wish all Businesses had a Jenny and a Peter !!! We were involved through the Energy Masters Project and then through the installation of a home battery which was VPP enabled through Amber. Integrating new equipment with an older PV system provided some challenges but technical skill and persistence triumphed and our new setup is working really well. I have had a battery installed and dealt with MacTrade services regarding the Rebate. I found them to be very patient with me, regarding the information they needed and the lack of information i was given by the company i installed the battery with. Several emails later explaining step by step what i needed and then me trying to get that information from the supplier took longer than normal. To finally have an email to say all is completed is now making my life stress free. Very efficient service when uploading the required documents to show VPP connection, fast response and approval and happy with their allocation of the entire $2050 for the rebate on a $20k solar system. The only reason MAC Trade Services don't get the 5th star is the length of time it takes to make their payment.
